The BICSI
Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is awarded to telecommunications professionals who demonstrate
a high level of expertise and excellence in the
integration and implementation of distribution systems (voice, data, video), as well as related infrastructure
components. There are only five thousand telecommunications
professionals that hold this prestigious certification world wide.
RCDD certified individuals are responsible for the detailed design of new or integration design of
existing systems, including any and all combinations of voice, data,
video, audio, and low-voltage control systems. They are also
experts in the conversion and/or integration of analog to digital and
vice versa.
RCDD specialists work closely with
architects, Information Systems specialists, network managers and
engineers to design intelligent systems
